Rest and Relaxation for Us

My husband and I returned to the Serenade for the third time to celebrate his birthday. In the past we've always picked a brand new hotel to try each winter but we've been very happy with this resort. It's been very interesting to see how all the gardens have grown in and how beautiful all the flowers are now.
We booked a Preferred Club room and were very happy with our room. Everything worked well and our wonderful housekeeping kept the room very clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
We had reservations at all the restaurants and at the Gourmet one as well. We enjoyed all our meals for the most part. Service was friendly and attentive. It could be slow as others have noted but that only happened to us once.
We did order room service once and the food was delivered to us nice and warm and in about 30 minutes.
Lunches were almost always at the outdoor patio at the Sports Bar for us. Juanita and Joanie were great at making sure we were taken care of. Even the cats who would join us were friendly too.
The beach is nice with an easy walk in to the ocean. They do work at getting rid of the sea weed on the beach and in the water. There are kayaks and paddle boards available at the hut down the beach towards where the construction of their new addition is being built. The equipment was in pretty good shape too.
The White Party on the beach was a lot of fun with an impressive fire show. Every night there are wonderful singers at the courtyard in front of the stairs to the main building and they entertain everyone until the nightly show starts at 9:30 in the theatre.

Beautiful property, extremely clean. Food was quite good, though it varied at times. Service was always friendly though sometimes slow at restaurants. The beach was beautiful and we were able to find places in the shade every day. It was a reasonable size and I felt safe travelling with several older teenagers. Since it was relatively small in size compared to some (2 main pools, one main beach area, etc), we felt good about knowing where they were at most times. The evening performances were always fun, a few of incredible quality and a few others that were enjoyable, but not off the charts. We really enjoyed the magic show and Circus performers. We also very much enjoyed the foam party at the pool, and the white dress beach party (a friend, alerted us to the fact that we needed to bring white clothing!). There are certainly fancier, all-inclusives in the area, but this was a very enjoyable trip and the property was great for our needs! Kids enjoyed the fact that we were upgraded to a swim out from with the pool, connecting the front edge up our two rooms. Weather was perfect!

Stephanie is awesome!

Stephanie is the best entertainment worker. She is full of energy and positivity. Stephanie has a bubbly personality and loves to dance with everybody, she works hard every night i love her. The drinks are great and the beach is so beautiful.

Stephany from the entertainment team is a very cheerful and agreeable girl. I liked the service. I really liked this hotel. The bar boys were very helpful and attentive. All the food was delicious.The beach party was very fun. Everything was great, the theater and the show were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
