The magic of Lapland, nature and culture!
A superb hotel on a human scale, very warm, with an entertainment team that speaks French (club marmara), and a staff that also speaks in English.
Special mention for the speaker guide Melissa, who shared her passion for the Scandinavian countries and Finnish Lapland in particular!
The visits or activities were all more extraordinary while being very simple, the organization was impeccable, the meals, inspired by local dishes, were very rich in flavors! And we were well reaching 5 fruits and vegetables a day! The rooms were spacious and well appointed, with a small kettle and welcome cups! We were only 15 minutes walk from the “city center” of this ancient city of gold miners rebuilt after the Second World War, but especially near a frozen river in the heart of the taiga! The big and beautiful spaces were the stars, No big city nearby, but 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, it’s not what we were looking for! On the other hand, the Northern Lights were visible some evenings just behind the hotel! The Sami country is soothing and exotic! And, for amateurs, Santa Claus, who is resting in the “No man’s land” between Russia and Finland after his tour, came to visit us one evening! I highly recommend this magical place!

Magic!
Great adventure and great holidays
Animations and excursions are well thought out
The animation team was really on top with Sarah the manager and her team Emmanuel Yohan and Erwan.
The buffet and meals are varied
The rooms are a little old on the other hand

Mixed opinion
Hotel away from everything.
The buffet is very limited.
The fireplace at the entrance is nice.
The bedding is good.
The room is clean.
There is clearly a lack of animation.
The little animation there is, the animators give themselves to the full.
The excursions are great and the guide Melissa is sweet and passionate. It was very nice to have him as a guide.

Enjoyable stay
The hotel staff is welcoming, the fireplace in the entrance is nice, the bedding is very comfortable. The place is clean quiet. there is enough to do activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing , ice hockey. Equipment available in good condition.
The small downsides are: the buffet where it lacks choice . the breakfast is very decent with more choices than the rest of the meals. it also lacks something to worry about in the evening (karaoke dart games could be a real plus ). The jacuzzi is very nice as well as the sauna. The entertainment team is professional as well as our guide Justine who gave us a lot of information throughout our stay whether on excursion or in the hotel.

excellent meals, very good service, beautiful rooms perfect animators at the top, smiling, available they are really professional, we were well supervised during the excursion motorcycle snow for example advised us for the aurora borealis, best animators I met, I am 77 years old and I travel beaucôup
