good address
Brandon Hotel & Spa is a very recommendable Pension.
Great location close to downtown Tralee and its excellent pubs.
Professional and friendly welcome

Very correct catering, room however a little noisy because many groups.

Coldest hotel in Ireland
Arrived 18/10 Rooms are freezing. Contacted reception they sent up a little oil heater that turns off every few minutes. Mould on walls. Only 2 sockets in the room so you can have heat and tv or phone!
Kettle in room you have to put on floor to boil as the socket is low to the ground. I am ment to stay 2 nights but I will be going after 1. This is the worst hotel I have visited and would never come back . It looks lovely on the website but when you get here it doesn’t look anything like the pictures.

Comfortable but dated
I stayed on business for two nights midweek. check-in was easy and friendly. However, the covid shield was still in place over reception, which I found uncomfortable.
Meals in the bar were good, first night staff were friendly, helpful, and experienced but with different staff the following night I did not enjoy the experience as much. I was on my own as I was waiting to be seated. I was asked if I was a driver, tour guide, or guest? The different floor staff ware being shouted instructions from the bar manager about where to seat the guests, although the restaurant was busy I was brought to a pillar with a mirror on it with a small area for food and I told the wait staff that I would order a drink and sit at the bar while waiting for a table. While I was at the bar, I was not approached for service. I found my own table and requested a menu. Staff were very unhelpful due to their inexperience, unlike the staff the previous night. I found the room comfortable and quiet but a little dated and no sockets beside the bed to accommodate a medical device I use. I decided not to have breakfast on either mornings although it was included in my booking due to the bus loads of other guests congregating in the restaurant and reception area.

One of the worst Hotel I have eber stayed in.
Sorry to have to say this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. It was very drab and dreary and needs a complete refurbishment. Our room was on 1st floor and facing onto the road, the noise was terrible during the night. There was a tour booked in and from 6am onwards it was just terrible with door banging and ppl talking loudly, so respect given for ppl still in bed. I had my 2 granddaughter with me on our stay and I rang down 4 purchase apple juice and orange juice was told that sorry we dont do room service, so had to leave the small girls in the room and go down and purchase drinks. Ww went to the leisure centre and what a let down that was. Drap and in need of painting and a good clean.
Breakfast was very poor, fruit in a bowl lwft whole and no fruit salad. I asked for melon but no melon, eventhough a lady across from our table had melon. I asked for pancakes and was toldno we dont do pancakes. So it left my granddaughter having nothing only a cup of tea. Cooked food was not good. When dropping off my key at reception on check out, the Receptionist did not ask how our stay was, just said bye now.

A once fine lady left to slowly deteriorate and fade away
Unfortunately what was once a proud lady has suffered over the years from lack of investment and lack of interest I presume from the owners. Now it is perfectly pleasant just dated and tired. The room was large and the bed comfortable but the heat was unreal as we couldn’t open the window much.
