IF HE WASN'T ALMOST ALONE IN THE CITY CENTER...

FOREWORD. I have been a customer for years of VivahotelAV. It is central and comfortable and has recently renovated several rooms of the structure that - generally between rooms and common areas - is cozy.
STRONG POINT OVER TIME: the staff everything from receptionists to housekeepers.
WEAKNESSES: first of all the new management - it seems to be the subject of a generational change - which has raised the economic demands and rigidities of the structure unexpectedly, without improving and worsening the services rendered. Some investment in the facilities (renovated rooms and new TV in some rooms) does not justify:
1) the increased price of the rooms (in a few years more than 30%) the imposition of a cost to the garage and a booking system all prepaid and accessible only online like a chain of motels;
2) the defainces of a breakfast that worsens in quality (it does not fully use the products of the excellent pastry Bligny present in the structure and offers pseudo-artisan desserts with an unmistakable taste with preservatives, the cafeteria distributed in a new beverage machine has poorly dosed proportions and is lukewarm, the salty is characterized by cheeses and salami without value and poor in the land of Irpinia place of slowfood presidia and excellence, discreet yogurth).
3) Inexcusable finally the defects of the rooms for poor maintenance. I was touched by one of the new ones: square view and undoubtedly well put but: roller shutter with skotch at the auction, absence of stick to the blackout curtain, shower cubicle with broken door (for a long time, it was known to the staff) and dangerous, badly fixed phone on the wall, shaky bathroom tablet, absence of hooks to hang the bathroom tablecloths, a skimpy, messy and dysfunctional wardrobe... but on this, in addition to the property that chose it, some questions should be asked to the designer to know if he also uses it at home and with what he hesitates.

Good location. Great food. Helpful staff. Room smelled stale and shower heads did not function properly. Scaffolding surrounded building right outside bedroom window.

Construction drilling all day and into the evening. Awful. Scratchy blanket. Please get some white duvets and micro fibre soft blankets. You also need double pillow cases for hygiene. Back of toilet, under the rim was dirty. Otherwise, rooms were clean, spacious, clean floors. beds were fairly comfy but a bit too hard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good variety. Includes capaccino machine. Breakfast over at 9:30. Needs to be 10:00. Nice coffee shop - great cappacino. Would stay again with a few improvements but NOT during construction.

Mediocre hotel. Was having construction work done so our window was completely covered whuch meant we couldn't open our window or see outside . Plus workers talking loudly right at window at 7am ; Horrible.
Breakfast was so poor we only ate first morning then didn't bother . Honestly don't have anything great to say .
