An Absolute Gem

This is one of the best B&B's we have every stayed at. Alice and Harry are excellent hosts and Alice goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you could possibly need during your stay. Breakfast is amazing with a superb choice and great coffee, the rooms are well equipped amd again have everything you need and the beds are really comfortable making for a greats night sleep. This is a lovely part of the Netherlands and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very nice B&B

The location is very near Drachten, and its easy to find. The hospitality is great, and Alice is a great host. The house is impressive, and the rooms are very clean. I had a really great night of sleep, and a breakfast like a king. I will recommand this to everybody who had to stay in Friesland for in my case business, but also for vacations. This is much more value then a Van Der Valk Hotel.

Hospitality and comfort like no other!

I cannot say enough good things about Alice and Harry at this 5 star plus B&B. This is the only place to stay when In Friesland. If you are looking for a few nights getaway from the city or a week long relaxation, choose this place.
You are treated better than family - more like royalty and are fed a beautiful breakfast every day. However there's many snacks to feed your munchies during the day and evening with a nice bar selection for a night cap.
Many games and booked to choose from and a good selection of satellite TV in many languages. Be sure to ask to see their beautiful Friesen horses or pet their lovely dogs.
I was so sad to leave and hope that we get to stay again.

Overnachting ivm cursus/ one night for a course due distance

The host is perfect. She knows how it works.
A perfect eye for detail and hospitality.
Great breakfast with a wide variety of goods, even a bag for lunch, isn't that great ?
I found my place to stay when I go up north.

Hidden highlight

This B&B is located in one of the remote corners of the picturesque province of Fryslân.
The room was fairly clean, cozy, hom(e)y, and comfortable. The breakfast was infinitely extensive with fresh ingredients and complementary eggs.
Service of the owners was pleasantly personal, friendly and with good sense of Dutch humor. The bill came to 110 EUR a night for two persons including breakfast.
A great place to explore this hidden part of the Low Lands.
