Hikers
Fantastic hotel! Great spa area with both indoor and outdoor pool. A department entirely for adults. The gym was okay. We were there to hike and there were very nice surroundings. The staff were accommodating and fixed everything we asked for. The food was outstanding, there were also good gluten-free choices but there is potential for improvement. The rooms are of a slightly simpler standard than you would expect from newer hotels. This is an older hotel with very nice cultural heritage. I give the hotel top marks!

Luxuriate in a historic fjord-side hotel
Deceptively large hotel that nevertheless exudes calm, comfort and quality. Food first-rate at breakfast and evening meal. Half board option particularly recommended. We had a lovely twin room (with extra bed) with fjord view. Excellent Facilities - indoor and outdoor pool, games rooms and more. Bus stop directly outside hotel to explore local area. Own quay at which fjord shuttle service and boat taxis stop too. Most guests seem to stay 1 one night and move on as they tour Norway but stay longer if you can to enjoy more of the hotel and appreciate the surrounding countryside.

Best hotel experience ever!
This place is unmissable! Exceptional location, exceptional staff, exceptional facilities! Without a doubt: The best hotel experience we have ever had! Warmly recommended for young, old and everyone in between.
The pools are fantastic, not least the long one with a view to the fjord and mountains. It's so stunning you can't believe your own eyes. The friendly staff really went out of their way to make sure our family anniversary event became an unforgettable moment. They even added a cherry on top with the yellow rainhats. Thank you, Hotel Ullensvang - you guys are unbeatable!

A relaxing and peaceful stay
We visited the hotel this summer, and had a bad experience. This time was really different! We got a great room with view, the food was much better (both dinner and breakfast) and the whole experience gave us a feeling of luxury and wellness. The atmosphere was different and much more relaxing - from mass tourism and busses this summer to families and couples in autumn. We got the impression of improvement from summer, wich is very good. We also feel that the management take the coments seriously and genuinly wishes to improve. The staff has both times been very professional and polite. This time we can give our best recomandations to this place.

Rom pulls down
Great food/restaurant and spa. Totally ok check-in but no more. The room had the little fly and spider tissue in the ceiling. The bed seemed somewhat tired and ripe for replacement. Smelled a little strange and locked up in the room. Lovely surroundings. Little TV and minus for carpet in the bedroom.
