mixed feelings
The staff was really nice and helpful along our stay.
The view from our room and also the whole area was really nice, the view was breathtaking when we arrived at night.
The only thing that bothered us is that when we arrived we were really surprised that there is a safety deposit to pay, which was 100 GBP. This information was not available anywhere (we booked via booking.com), we didnt get an e-mail about it, anything. And I have to admit it still bother us, because we still did not get that money back 5 days after we left the hotel.
Despite the safety deposit-thing, we really enjoyed our stay and we would go back to ARK.

However, we’re sorry to hear that the size of the room and bathroom left you feeling claustrophobic. The room was so tiny it was laughable. The bed was a small double and the “bathroom” was just a cloakroom with a shower in it. The only saving grace was the swimming pool and sauna and the iced matcha from the cafe. I wouldn’t stay there again. Save your money
