PARKLANDS SIMPLY THE BEST

Here we are again back home from another excellent plus stay at Parklands country club and spa. I’ve lost count how many times we’ve been in the last few years it’s that good, you hate leaving you just want to stay put.
This visit it was, Granny, mum and 3 grandchildren, all older teenagers, we were treated like royalty, and made to feel really special, it was mum and middle granddaughter birthdays.
Food was Supberb, nothing any trouble, I only mentioned when ordering breakfast, it was a pity there were no pancakes on the menu, as grandson loves them, next thing a plate of 5 pancakes arrived at our table. Big thank you to the dinning/bar/ chef and kitchen staff and of course the KP. ( I’ve been told by my grandaughter the KPs never get thanked).
Rooms were great, spacious and with a connecting door, every need catered for.
Spa area is the best I have ever been to, I only go to spa hotels and this one is simply the best.
We hired a badminton court, what great fun that was. Other facilities available, saving them for next time.
Finally, the best for last Angela receptionist is outstanding, her attention, humor and she always has a lovely welcoming smile, nothing is too much Trouble for her. Gillian and DJ both Tremendous too. All 3 should be recognised for their service and hard work.
What could have been better? Absolutely nothing!! Oh well one little thing, The other regular staff members who were on holiday, I really missed our catch up. So next time we see you. Won’t be too long , dates are already being looked at.

I absolutely love coming to the Parklands as it’s a great location, lovely hotel, the food is excellent and the spa is the icing on the cake! Can’t wait to come back again.

Will be back!!

Great stay here after having the night rescheduled last month. Room was lovely and clean, spa facilities were really nice. Breakfast was made to order and arrived quickly. All round great stay, will definitely be back next time we are through this way!

Terrible stay this time round

We have stayed a few times and this time was awful. We had room 210 which was connected to 209 by a door in the room and the 2 male guests in the other room were constantly shouting WOOHOO, screaming, swearing and all sorts from 8am. Spoke to the man on reception and the manager regarding this and no one wanted to know, “we can only apologise but we can’t control the behaviour of other guests” is all we were met with. Yes, thanks your apology really makes up for a £145 bill and what was supposed to be a relaxing child free night. We would’ve been as well staying in the house and saving £145, would’ve been up at 8am to my toddler shouting so what would’ve been the difference. Genuinely will not be back after the lack of service received when you raise an issue. Think I will turn up and start shouting and balling at 8am waking their other paying guests up though since that seems to be fine!
By the way - I have videos of this so if anyone from Parklands wants to take responsibility, please get in contact with us and I’ll send you these. We stayed room 210 from 14/05/25-15/05/25.

I am sorry that you felt your sleep was disturbed by other guests at 8am and I understand that calling down to report this when you were already awake seemed pointless and actually there was nothing that we at the hotel could have done at that point. As it turns out, the gentleman concerned has tourettes and could not even control it himself. Again our apologies for the situation and we hope this does not deter you from a return visit.

Wedding Day

Jennifer is the best in the business! This venue is amazing, we had our full day there. I got ready in the morning with my bridesmaids in the boardroom, this room is gorgeous and every MUA's dream with all the natural light. We used all 3 of the function rooms and all of our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was. Everything ran on time and so smoothly that there really is nothing negative to say at all. The coordinators and staff are amazing from start to finish, we will absolutely be back for some overnights and to get the use of the massive jacuzzi tub in the Parklands Suite - there just wasn't any time with how tired we were the following morning lol!
