Excelente!
Matt was a super nice and friendly host! Showed us all the house and explain us everything. The room is very clean and confortable and the house is very nice, many pans to cook, good kitchens utensils, oven, toaster, kettle, freezer, fridge, etc, everything you need. Also had an amazing shower in the bathroom downstairs. Internet was great and the location very nice with an amazing view of the lake. Also free canoe and bike, which was very nice! Would definitely stay there again! Very recommended! Thanks again Matt!

She is here this busy market weekend taking care of most of our Swedish and Norwegians guests ( and me ! ) whilst I try to take it a little easy. Very nice, good prize, but check the cancellations conditions
We stayed one night, during a working journey. We got the big house, ‘Lake House’, for ourselves, and for an excellent price. The house is very nice, with possibilities to prepare your own food and with a big TV screen. It is like an exclusive bed & breakfast, without breakfast. But you can buy breakfast at the bakery, a 5 minutes’ walk from the house. The bakery 'Tärnafjällens Bageri & Konditori' opens very early, so you can be sure to get breakfast before it is time to leave.
All contact with the owner was made by internet, e-mail, and SMS. I worked fast and efficiently. There is only with thing to be aware of, the very hard conditions for cancellations. They are shown on the home page, and must be read carefully.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review. Very much appreciated . We're very happy you enjoyed your stay. Apologies that Lindy and/or myself weren't there to meet you personally for your overnight accommodation. We were attending a family reunion in the UK over that period.
The house you actually stayed in was the smaller house and is called ' Boat House ' . The larger house adjacent to this house is actually the ' Lake House ' !
If you find the time , can you please adjust this information ( if it is possible ? ) so that it doesn't cause confusion for future guests.
As for our terms and conditions, I believe we still inadvertently had our peak winter ski season terms set instead of our generally more flexible summer terms. I will look into changing that for the 2015 Summer season. Thank you for pointing that out. Wishing you continued safe travels and hope to have you stay with us again.

nice place and fantastic environment
We were at Tarnaby B&B for 5 days, and it was the perfect base to explore Lapland and its fantastic Nature.
The B&B is not very big (4 rooms), but has a range of different choices for accomodation: from double rooms (our) to 4 bed rooms or a big family unit. There are 2 shared bahtrooms, but we hadn't problems with it during our stay. Specialy, the downstairs bathroom is huge and much better equipied than others at much more expensive hotels in Sweeden. The upstairs bathroom is small, but is clean. The family room downstairs is big and nice, and has a private toilet. I really don't understand why it hasn't a private shower, thus there is space to place it. Maybe is in the "to do list", as the young owners are making improvements every year.
There is a living room and a Kitchen at the rooms building, and a cosy bar-restaurant at the reception building. Fantastic views over the lake from all these spaces.
The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, and they give you a lot of useful tips.
The breakfast is really nice (I miss that breads!) and gives you the strength for a sports day.
We went on summer, so the ligth lasted and lasted in the evening, and to have dinner or a cup of wine at the bar was fantastic. In wintertime there must be very beautiful also, and you can use an outdoor wood sauna.
Be sure to wear a sleeping mask with you if you are not used to such a luminous nights. As in most places in Sweeden, is imposible to be dark in the rooms.

I recomend this place for independent travelers, specially for his relationship quality/price, friendly atmosphere and location.
