The hotel was warm and welcoming on our arrival.Check in was quick snd easy.we agreed a preferred floor for our stay and were happy to be given a room next door to our daughter and granddaughter as requested.
The room was clean and bright and was changed on the days we required and always cleaned to a high standard.
Breakfasts were busy even though we changed times to find a quieter time, however there was always plenty of food available and it was always warm. Everything was tasty and fresh. We were welcomed each day whilst giving our room numbers and loved the friendliness of those doing so especially Jennie. Tables were cleaned quickly and plates removed as soon as food was consumed
The hotel is in a great location close to all amenities

Hotel has great location! Staff on the other hand, not so much. Security decided to stalk me and harass me about being a guest and even went as far as to tell me “this is my house” then proceed to ask me to leave.
Although, I was in the process of checking out and waiting for my black truck driver to arrive.
Thank god another employee intervened! I did not like that the toilets were not soft close. The aesthetics in the rooms are totally outdated! Heater was unable to heat room.
Also, stay away from windows as they open inwards below waist level with a complete opening for whatever may pass through. Terrible concept remind you I was on the 16th floor.
This was a totally step down from recently departed hotel. Which was MOXY East Village and The Hoxton! Complete cuts above from this RIU brand. I will never use their hotel again.
Finally, the valet and parking situation was a distraer. There no one to park and the hotel also doesn’t have its own parking which is always a deterrent from any hotel that I chose to travel to for purposes of leisure. I never venture to hotels that do not provide the bare necessities of feeling like a home away from home. After all it is travel for pleasure!

Nice hotel but rooms are extremely small, even for NY standards. Staff was a bit rude at times especially those working the night shift

Very new hotel in a fantastic location- steps from the theater district, and great restaurants on the same block as the hotel.

Shower leaking into the hallway. Received phone call to check out at 11:00 even though it says in hotel website that check out is at noon. Room was to close to elevators and super noisy. Feels like there’s no door to the room.
